About Me

I have been enjoying scrapbooking and stamping for over 8 years. I am happily married of almost 5 years and we just had our first baby, a son! We are so blessed and happy, and being able to stamp and create just makes everything complete!

For Grandpa...

I enjoyed making this card for my Grandpa's birthday. "Three in a Tree" rubber stamp is from INKADINKADOO, love their stamps!!! I just sponged with SU Old Olive ink to fill it in! Simple, but manly I think! LOL! Cheers!

My "Zindorf" Case Attempt...

My Copy
When I saw this Michelle Zindorf's card, I knew I was going to TRY and make it for a sympathy card that I had to make. I enjoyed making the card, too bad for the circumstance...anyways, here is the original and then my attempt...I was happy with how it turned out but in a way I don't think with mine, you can tell it is a leaf in a pool of water...what do you think? Just to note as well, I didn't have a brayer as Michelle used, so all my technique was sponging. I think that will be my next purchase is a brayer though. LOL!
WOW, as I post my photo up beside Michelle's I sure notice the difference of vibrancy of color...my photos are not doing my card's any justice as to what they look like in REAL life, any suggestions? Of course her colors are brighter than mine, but mine was somewhat vibrant as well...hmmmm

SUPPLIES USED:

SU Inks: Old Olive, Ballet Blue Blue, Cool Carribean, Always Artichoke

SU Paper: Whisper White and Always Artichoke

EBP: Clear

Part 2 of VanIsle SU Meeting - Pics of Make N ' Takes

Just thought I would post a few of the demo's from the meeting of the make n ' takes that we made! I would post all of them, but I am having trouble posting photos on this blog and until I figure it out, I am only going to post a few more! LOL! Thank you.

Projects from VanIsle Stampin' Up! Meeting - Sept 13/08

Yay, I got to finish some of the make n' takes that we did at the VanIsle SU Meeting! I couldn't wait and they were so much fun to do. And EASY!!!!

These first two projects were my absolute favorites!

1. Shadow Box Card

Supplies used: Real Red Paper, SU Markers, Liquid Applique (non SU), 1/2" striped grosgrain ribbon and the stamp set "Jolliest Time of the Year"

Here is a closer look at the Shadow Box Card at a slight angle, you can see the 3D of the applique and even though it is a bit hard to tell here, the face is 3D also!! You stamp the Santa's face again on a separate pc of paper , cut it out and then apply over the first santa's face, way too cool!

I LOVE Liquid Applique!!! It goes on like glue, looks like glue, but when you put a heat gun to it, it puffs right up!!! FANTASTIC!!!! I love making things pop out, make it more dimensional...I hope they will be making more colors in the future!!!! For the white applique, make sure not to heat it too long or it will burn!

2.Diaper Fold Packet

This was an amazing little project to make!!! You only use 1 sheet of Double Sided 6x6 paper and start folding - you do not use any adhesive!!!!

I love this packet because you could make it for so many things: ornaments, party favors, gift for teacher or anyone, door prizes, etc. LOVE IT!!!!

Sorry this picture is not right-side up (anyone know how to fix this?) because when I took and edited the picture, it was the right way!!!????
Anyways, I am posting it because to show you how you can decorate a simple York Pattie for your prize in your little packet!!! mmm York Patties, they are good! And if you want to make a whole bunch of these, you can get a HUGE bucket of these Patties at COSTCO!

LOL!

PLEASE come back soon to check out the items as I will hopefully be finishing them on Wed night and will be able to post some pics!!! Cheers!

Full Moon Splender...

This is my first card at attempting to do "Masking". I am glad it turned out (the moon is a little low but that is ok) for the most part! The Stamp set is from SU called "Noble Deer", which is now unfortunately discountinued but still a wonderful stamp set to use!

Thanks for looking! Cheers!

Cupcakes Anyone?

I just had to show the cupcake card that I made for my friend's little girl who was turning 5! When I saw this on SCS, I fell in love! Not only do I LOVE real cupcakes, now I am loving to make these cute cute cards! Thanks Lindsey! With the template it is actually very easy to make and so much fun to design!

Have a Sunshiney FALL Day!

Have a Sunshiney FALL Day!

Hello Fellow Stampin' Sistahs!Yay it's Friday! Hope you all had a great week! I am excited to be posting this card. When I joined the "Bellaholicanonymous" group and found out they had a "Monthly Bella Card Contest" I got inspired to do this card for the month of October. Since I didn't have any special "Halloween" Bellas, I thought I would do a fall theme. For this contest, anyone who is part of the "Bellaholicanonymous" group, can post a photo of their card and place it in the monthly album for the contest. Then all group members vote after a closing date who should win. Who ever wins the contest, their Bella card is chosen to be displayed on the "Bellaholicanonymous" Home Web Page! Wish me luck ladies! tee hee. I have already seen some of the other cards, and I am running against some ROCK'N competition!!!

My Favorite Bella Cards I have made so far...

This is a card I made for a friend's birthday! I just loved the flowered paper and how the colors worked together! I was quite happy with how the whole card turned out!

This next card I cased the design from SCS and when I found this funky paper, I knew I had to use it!

This was my very first Bella stamp and card that I made. I had so much fun coloring her dress and the background paper (pink)! And I am a dog lover to boot, so this is one of my favorite stamps!

Let the FUN begin!!!!

I cannot believe I have just started a blog!!!! But I am actually excited about this! (Thank you Krista). One of the reasons why I have started a blog is because I have just joined a wonderful group called the "Bellaholicsanonymous" and they all post their cards via a blog. I LOVE Bella stamps!!! It is like stamping, coloring and playing Barbie's all in one, Love it!!!!! And yes, as the group name implies, Bella stamps are VERY addicting, you just can't stop at one! LOL!Also because I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, it will be good to be able to post my SU card samples, upcoming classes and feature new products and promotions!I will post a few of my favorite Bella cards that I have made in the past for friends and family. I have cased some of the cards and I apologize that I do not remember from whom, so I will from now on IF I do case someone elses work, I will make note of it! Thank you!
